An extraordinary opportunity to acquire one of the rarest Chanel evening accessories ever to surface on the collectors' market.

This exceptional Sample Minaudière was created for Chanel's Métiers d'Art Paris-Dallas Pre-Fall 2014 collection, designed by Karl Lagerfeld, and represents a remarkable piece of the House's creative history.

Unlike the production version, this example is a true sample/prototype, retaining characteristics reserved for the development process before commercial release. Pieces of this nature were produced in extremely limited quantities for presentations, fittings, showroom use, or internal validation, making them significantly rarer than retail editions.

Inspired by the decorative architecture of 31 Rue Cambon, the minaudière features an exquisitely sculpted gold-tone metal exterior adorned with elaborate baroque scrollwork, camellias, the iconic interlocking CC logo, and the celebrated "31 Rue Cambon" inscription. Every surface showcases the exceptional craftsmanship synonymous with Chanel's Métiers d'Art collections.

The structured oval silhouette opens to reveal a refined brushed gold-tone interior, while the original push-button clasp bearing the historic Chanel compass seal further emphasizes its archival importance.

Museum-quality examples from Karl Lagerfeld's most celebrated Métiers d'Art collections have become increasingly sought-after by serious Chanel collectors worldwide. Sample pieces are exceptionally elusive, with very few ever leaving the House.

An outstanding collector's object, equally deserving of display in a curated archive or worn as one of the most distinctive evening minaudières ever produced by Chanel.

Condition

Excellent vintage condition with only light, age-appropriate signs of handling consistent with an archival sample. The metal retains a beautiful rich gold-tone finish. The interior remains exceptionally clean.
